Terms of Service
These terms describe how RideRadar works today. They are not a substitute for independent legal advice. Using the app means you accept this version.
1. Who we are
RideRadar is operated by PVK TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED (“we”, “us”), K SHIRE BUILDING A-1704, PLOT B ANDC SR NO 13/1, Punawale, Pune City, Pune- 411033, Maharashtra, India. Contact: support@rideradar.in.
2. The service
RideRadar is a motorcycle trip planner and live-ride companion. It lets riders create accounts, plan trips, join groups and events, share tracks, see other participants on a map during an active ride, log shared expenses, and (on Android) use phone-to-phone pillion intercom.
RideRadar is not an emergency service, insurer, tour operator, licensed guide, or payment processor. We do not dispatch help, guarantee other riders, or certify routes, weather, or road conditions.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old. We collect a birthdate at signup to enforce this. You must be legally allowed to ride a motorcycle where you use the app. One person, one account.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for your login, devices, and the content you post (profile, photos, trips, groups, events, tracks, messages, reports). Keep your credentials secret. Tell us if you lose access.
We may suspend or close an account for a terms or guidelines breach, suspected fraud, legal request, or to protect other riders. Suspended users can contact the Grievance Officer and sign out; they cannot use the rest of the app until restored.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of photos, text, routes, and other material you upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and transmit that content so the service can function (for example, showing a trip banner to invited riders).
You confirm you have the rights to upload what you upload. The first time you pick an image, the app asks you to acknowledge this. Do not upload illegal, sexual, hateful, or infringing material.
6. Live rides and maps
Live location is shared only while a ride is active and only with other participants of that ride, unless you hide your pin. Background location may run so the pack can still see you if the app is not in the foreground. A map is a planning aid, not a substitute for riding with your eyes on the road.
Before you start or join a live ride you must accept the Ride / Liability Waiver.
7. Money
RideRadar does not sell digital goods or subscriptions inside the current Android app. Expense splitting is a ledger between riders; we do not move money. Event pages may include an external payment link. That link leaves the app. Ticket sales and refunds are solely between the organiser and the attendee.
8. Intercom
Pillion intercom is an Android feature that uses the microphone, Bluetooth, and nearby Wi-Fi devices. It can mute for an incoming phone call. Use it only where local law allows a headset, and never if it distracts the rider.
9. Acceptable use
Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not harass, spam, scam, impersonate, scrape, attack the service, or use RideRadar to organise illegal activity. We may remove content and suspend accounts.
10. Reports and complaints
You can report users, events, groups, trips, tracks, and rides in the app, and open a support ticket. Grievance Officer: Prasad Kutarekar, support@rideradar.in. We aim to acknowledge and address complaints within 15 days.
11. Your data
How we handle personal data is in the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your account from Edit Profile.
12. Availability and changes
The service is provided as-is. Features can change, break, or be withdrawn. If we change these Terms in a material way we will bump the in-app version and ask you to accept again before continuing.
13. Liability
Motorcycle riding can kill or injure you. You ride at your own risk. To the maximum extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for accidents, route choices, other riders, organiser events, external payments, or loss of data. Our aggregate liability for a claim about the app is limited to INR 1,000 or the amount you paid us for the app in the previous 12 months (currently none), whichever is higher. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer forum rights.
